Need guidance regarding a dual monitor card.

Need guidance regarding a dual monitor card.

Need guidance regarding a dual monitor card.

(OP)
I would like to add an additional monitor to my G4 but don't want to give up a PCI slot to do it. Are there any dual monitor AGP cards that are reasonably priced for this? I don't play games nor do I do any other 3D type stuff so I really don't need the "latest and greatest". Can anyone help??
Thanks

RE: Need guidance regarding a dual monitor card.

A dual monitor card will only give you the same picture that you currently have. I'm afraid that you will need to install a second card.

Hi Eddie,
Appian makes a dual monitor card. You don't have to tie up two slots.

I don't know about price, though. Here's a little from their marketing crap:

Appian Jeronimo™ 2000 Macintosh 32MB SGRAM
Two 3Dlabs® Permedia®3 accelerators
Dual monitor output from one AGP slot
Y2K Compliant

Might be overkill for you.......
