Error 532 Cannot find database DLL

Error 532 Cannot find database DLL

Error 532 Cannot find database DLL

(OP)
We have a number of Crystal Reports that we distribute to customers with our software. One of our customers is running our application on a Citrix server, which works just fine, but when they try to print a Crystal Report they receive the message "Error:532 Cannot find database DLL. Execute <PEStartPrintJob>." We suspect that it is because the Crystal Reports DLLs are not installed on the local computer, but we are not positive. Any ideas?

RE: Error 532 Cannot find database DLL

Where I've seen that error message, that was what we had to check out. A setup .exe goes out with our software to handle copying the CR DLLs and configuring an ODBC data source, so we'd just run that. There's a good bit of documentation at Crystal's support site detailing the necessary DLLs for distributed reports as well as (I believe) a utility within the report designer that'll show you DLL dependencies.
