I can't relate these tables to one another -- Just want to run queries

I can't relate these tables to one another -- Just want to run queries

here's what they look like. . .

Table 1 "Heritage Artifacts" (each record given #s 1-5)
-Artifact type
-Located

Table 2 "Literature"
-ArtifactID
-Type
-Title
-Year

Table 3 "Historic Landmark"
-ArtifactID
-Parcel Number
-Title
-Address

Table 4 "Photos"
-ArtifactID
-Subject
-View
-Dimension

Table 5 "Maps"
-Artifact ID
-Manufactured date
-date Portrayed
-Description

Table 6 "Files"
-Artifact ID
-Item Name
-Item Type
-Item Description

. . . That's it.  The way I see it, the first table is the primary table.  All of the "artifact ID" numbers in the secondary tables match the one assigned to it in the primary table.  But, I don't get any results when I run a query and type "Adobe" in the criteria.

Any help is so very much appreciated

David,

Have you received the Email from me with your MDB attached? Hopefully, it answers your questions.

Yes, I did.  Thanks so much.  I sent you an email with some questions about it.
