IP Address Management Tool

IP Address Management Tool

(OP)
Hi all,

I need help locating an application for managing IP addresses. I need a tool that can help me manage IP addresses that are in use accross different LANS. This application should be able to do the following:

1) Ping a specified range of IP address, preferably with the ability to configure the number of pings sent per node etc. And that can be set to perform periodic scans that can be set for certain times.

2) Resolve any boxes that reply to the pings by a) WINS b) DNS.

3) Place the results into a database that can then be manipulated if needed (eg. change a hostname??), and made available to different users (web interface).

If anyone has had any experiences with such an application or know of a tool that would help please let me know, it really would help.

Many Thanks,
Martin.

Try Easy-IP from Crypton. It does just about everything you mentioned. www.crypton.co.uk
