Hi,

I've created a win2k professional vmware machine on a winXP host.  I'm trying to install wise for windows installer onto the vmware machine, but wise insists on a screen resolution bigger or equal to 600x800.

I tried to set the vmware machine's resolution to 600x800 (the maximum resolution available) but after I clicked on the button to keep the setting the resolution reverts back to 640x480 (the minimum and only other option available).

Could you please tell me if it is possible to change the resolution, and if so how?

RE: W2K screen resolution

You need to install VMWare Tools then you can change the resolution.
