I have a mailbox that had the wrong password put into it.  The messages now states "Mbox locked"  I cannot get the system administrator password to unlock my mail box.  I cannot listen to any of the messages in my mailbox.  Can you help me get my mailbox unlocked so we can hear our messages?  Of course the phone company wants their typical 45 dollars per hour to send a technician out for something that should be listed in the manual.  I do have the nortel books on the meridian system.  I cannot locate this in the books at all.  Thanks for the help

RE: Mbox locked

you have to log into the callpilot via the unified manager. there you can reset the password to the default

how do I do that?  If I power down the system will it reset?

RE: Mbox locked

Call your vendor and arrange for some admin training.
If the system is new he should have done this as part of the installation quote.

RE: Mbox locked

all teh documents are on the BCM itself + there is also a CD with hte docs ...but the bcm docs will be the the one relevent to ur s/w release ...

if you are good with books read the cp setup operation guide ... or else do as aragon says ...get trained from someone

RE: Mbox locked

Mbox passwords are reset by the system admin. Yes it is very easy to reset passwords, but you need the admin password and you need to get it from your vendor.
