Event and Alarm code manual??

Event and Alarm code manual??

Event and Alarm code manual??

(OP)
You know how for the CICSs and MICSs there is a straight forward Alarm/ Event code manual that lists out the alarm/ event code and then tells you what it means?

I found on the BCM that the explaination of the codes is cryptic at best and doesn't flat out list that 'this code means this' etc.....

Does anyone know where I can find such a list of codes?

Melissa

Have you tried turning on the alarm service and then looking at the alarm banners.

The alarms show up in English there.

Well, the alarm banner only shows some of the alarms for the BCM as a whole.
Under the MSC there is the Network event log as well as the system admin log and system test log, like in the ICSs but the alarms and event codes don't correspond with the old ICS alarm and event code manual (too bad, that would have been nice). Then you have to go into a whole other manual under the documentation link and painstakingly look it up. And it doesn't go in numerical order either. <sigh>
