MSV-alpha virus

(OP)
Hello!
I was visiting a website when a pop-up window informed me that a Michael Skinner Virus (MSV-alpha) was just downloaded to my computer. It was classified as a "modern stealth virus." Has anyone heard anything about such a thing or is it a prank? I'd greatly appreciate any info ASAP.
Thanks!
Sitting by my computer afraid to re-boot....

RE: MSV-alpha virus

Can't find anything official on it - would say it is a prank window from that site.

RE: MSV-alpha virus

I looked and couldn't find anything, either. It may be a prank (most likely) or a brand new virus not yet discovered (possible). I would contact your AV supplier and see what they say.
