Zebra LP 2844 via USB

Here's my problem. I need to be able to print both text and barcodes to this printer using VB6. I've looked at another example that sent the ZPL to a text file, then copied the text file to the LPT1 port in order to send to the printer. My problem is that this printer is actually connected via USB, so I'm at a loss as to how to get these codes to the printer. Does anyone have any ideas or know where I can look?

It should be the same, except
the only differnce is the port, instead of printing to Com1 or LPT1
Copy filename USBport
you need to find out what the USB port is called in the computer.
If not another option could be to capture the USB port to a LPT1 to something. This is done in a Batch command (Command prompt at boot up)
