Piece of String...

The season field in my database is displayed like "SP/2001".  I need my formula to display only the last four digits without the "SP/".  The year will be part of the report header.  How do I get it to display just the last four characters?

RE: Piece of String...

{SeasonField}[-1 to -4]
will print the last four characters - it will generate an error if the field has fewer than four characters.  To avoid the possible error, you can test the field first using the Length() function.

Thanks, that is just what I needed.
