Holdable Cursors in Mimer SQL

Holdable Cursors in Mimer SQL

Holdable Cursors in Mimer SQL

(OP)
hi...

a holdable cursor is a cursor that is hold accross transaction boundaries.
so if i do a commit, the cursor is not closed by default anymore.
i want to know if there is an jdbc driver that supports holdable cursors for MimerSQL. obviously, the original one doesn't

if i do sth. like:
<snip>
conn.setHoldability(ResultSet.HOLD_CURSORS_OVER_COMMIT);
</snip>
i got the exception:
java.lang.AbstractMethodError: com.mimer.jdbc.Connection.setHoldability(I)V
at MimerTest.<init>(MimerTest.java:41)
at MimerTest.main(MimerTest.java:49)

any help would be fine!

thx!

RE: Holdable Cursors in Mimer SQL

Sorry for a stupid question, but what do you need it for? Just curious.
