Macromedia Flash is written as an ActiveX control.  There are entire books written about ActiveX, and you should have no trouble finding information about it on the web.

But I need to know about plug-in programming fo IE in general.
Is any plug-in an activeX control ?
My problem is that I don't know the necessary Interface for integrating with IE and how to link them.
please help me !

Search the Platform SDK documentation for "Browser Extension" all of the information you need is in there.
