We inherited a PolyCom IP3000 conference phone that was operational on another NBX network. How do we configure the conference phone? Plug it in and let her rip? Pay money for an additional license??

Thanks...

RE: PolyCom IP3000 Conference phone

To install the phone you will need to buy a Polycom license for the NBX, enter the license into the NBX, and plug the phone in. The NBX will see it automatically and if you have auto-discover phone on, it'll show up in your Telephones listing.

Kuddos to you! Maybe it's a bug in the firmware?
Does it show up in Netset under telephones as a Polycom phone? Can you do all the tasks on the phone - conferenecing, transfer, etc?
Cool if it works!

when you get into 4.1 NBX OS the phone will stop working and you may find your logs filling up rapidly with error messages.  Look at patch:

FYI: the license is cheap BTW.
