When you are building a complex graphic, save often and save the working version in the .psp format. That way if you crash PSP or your electricity goes out, you don't have to start over.

I know...I know...This is a simple tip, but it sure can save you a lot of headaches and time.

"Save often" holds true even for simple little graphics.  You never realise just how much work you have done, or how long it's taken until you have to do an action replay.
