Secondary Dial Tone

Hope someone can help me.  We dial a 9 for an outside line but we no longer get a secondary dial tone.  Can you please advise on where or how to set this up.

RE: Secondary Dial Tone

Check your system short codes.  You should have something like...

Shortcode   9
Telephone Number  .
Line Group Id  0
Feature  SecondaryDial Tone

Hope this helps!

RE: Secondary Dial Tone

RE: Secondary Dial Tone

Hi thanks for the ideas I manage to get a secondary dial tone but then when i dial the number it just hangs up

RE: Secondary Dial Tone

It sounds like the call may be attempting to go out of the system in a line that doesn't exist or is not programmed correctly.  I would check the lines next.
