CVS History Cleanup / Purge

CVS History Cleanup / Purge

After quite a bit of google'n I still have no answer to my CVS Question.

I currently have 2 seperate CVS repositories running on two different servers. All configuration to consolidate to one Larger redundant server is complete, but we are running into an issue.

One of these repositories is about 3-4 years old...
This repository stores alot of binary type files..

The issue is we would like to clean up alot of the older history. Some of the binary files are actually only a few MB but thanks to a 3 year history attached to it even the smaller files eating up huge amounts of space.

I would like to be able to purge the repository of history older than a certian date...
Is this at all possible?
Any input would be greatly appreciated!
