Having troubles setting up PHS on a 7400. After following the programming in the WCS manual the cards and appear to work fine, but after connecting the cell stations to the system they don't power up. Any ideas?

RE: NEAX 7400 m120 PHS troubles

you must "roll" the pairs at the mdf cross connect. try connecting the switch side only in this sequence: Orange / White , White / Orange, Blue / white, White /Blue. yes it seems backwards.

Only reverse ONE side of the cross connect and they should fire up. try turning up one of your ZT's at the MDF first.

Yeah, got that already, so the transmit and receive of the cell station meet the receive and transmit of the system.

ZT's?

RE: NEAX 7400 m120 PHS troubles

ZT = Zone Transceiver = "cell station"

The White box with the 2 antenna on it.
