Hi, I’m trying to transfer a call to a Hunt Group that is set up as “group” ring and have all the members in the extension list set up to dial/transfer/forward to outside cell phones at the same time, so the first cell phone that answers gets the call.
    If I only put one ext in the Hunt Group and set it to linear it works fine.
1) Can the IP406 do this?
2) Has anyone done this?
3) Can anyone think of a different way to do the same thing?

If you wan't to forward hunt-group call's, the ringing has to be set to linear. The other ringing-types will not forward hunt-group calls...

Linnear is listed as Hunt in UK Managers, rotory groups can allso be diverted of switch, Group & Longest waiting cannot

That sucks, but thanks a lot for help...

We are doing similar, except using circular hunt with 3 IP hard phones over VPN in group and 2 users forwarding hunt group calls to home phones. What we have found is if all IP phones are in DND and the operator transfers to the hunt group it will ring the home phone once and drop the call. If the call comes thru the Voicemail PRO auto attendant and transfers to the hunt group it works fne.

Note: We have PRI T1 and running v1.4(27)
