Mac Forth Implementations

Mac Forth Implementations

Mac Forth Implementations

(OP)
I've just inherited an iMac (OS X 10.1) from my wife who upgraded to a new tower G5 big enough to control shuttle launches.

Anyway, used to program in Forth but have strayed from the true path (i.e., had to use M$oft compilers).

Any ideas/suggestions/comments on a good implementation for the iMac?  Commercial would probably be OK but freeware or shareware or donationware or somethingware would make me happier.

Thanks as always in advance for your comments/ideas.

Tom

Thanks guys ...

RE: Mac Forth Implementations

I think my favorite Forth was Forth79 which I learned on, then used F83 to write complete image files I set the target address for cs:b000 and burned it into an eprom that I swapped into my older clone where the Basic chip was socketed like the original, but empty. But I didn't do this much because I had bought the programmer but not the eraser...

Happy New Year!
Marshall
