My wife does transcription over the internet. The company she works for installed PC Anywhere on our computer along with another job related application. When she starts work, she has to connect to the home office to receive work. We have a cable modem and a Netgear router that connects 3 computers. We've had our cable company do maintenance on the lines and modem to see if that was the problem. Occasionally when she connects, she doesn't receive all the data, or sometimes no data. What I have to do for it to work is disconnect her computer from the router and connect her directly to the cable modem, leaving the other computers without an internet connection. I've noticed that we have no problems with the internet. I've recently upgraded the firmware of the router and also resetted it. Is the problem our router? Thanks again for any help.
