What kind of cable is required for stringing coax RG58 10Base2 Ethernet outdoors (in sunlight) around 500 ft?

Contact the company where you are buying from.
They will advise you best.
I guess you know 600ft is the limit for 10Base2 (the 2 stands for 200 meters actually 185 (by the book)

otherwise use 10Base5 or 500 meters

Like DougP said,you can't use 10Base2 for wiring 600ft and that was not cable problem but which Network Base you use. Coax RG58 that is pretty good for outdor wiring.
