Once a database has been created in Access 97, is there any way to convert it so that a user with Access 7 can use it?

RE: SAve Access 97 as previous version

Hi hrsrh,

Access97 can export only tables to older versions. If you have nice queries, forms and reports, I think the only solution is to make two front-ends (Access7 and Access97) which have linked tables from common backend (Access7 database). But it means double work with forms and reports. Queries are easier to copy as SQL phrases.

Good luck,
Al
