Unit of Measure Conv Table - can I update it outside of std SYMIX

Recently, I have put in the wrong U/M conversion for a staple from box to each (5000 each / per 1 box).  When I tried to update that conversion, I get an error report of all the jobs / items that called the EA U/M.  The item master has the qty in BX.  So, I can update each of the jobs except type E jobs that are standard estimate jobs.  I wonder what my safest solution could be...for now my routings have been changed to call the staple by the box instead of by the each.  This gets us the correct cost, but I still have that incorrect U/M conversion in there.  Can I do a FOR EACH on the U/M conversion table without hurting anything?
