I'm in the process of moving tables into databanks. Is it possible to alter the table and putit to a databank?

RE: alter table MyTable into databank MyDefault;

The easiest way is probably to use the mimload utility (or the LOAD/UNLOAD commands from ODBC based tools):

unload all to 'tab1file' from table TAB1;
drop table tab1 cascade;

**  Edit tab1file to use a new databank **

load from 'tab1file';

If you have a lot of data you can do the unload of definitions to a separate file, so that you can get the file into an editor.
