Calls get disconnect instead of Busy

Hi all. We have a number of independent systems based on IP403 with a variety of add-on modules. The systems with VM pro are having the following problem:
Once all huntgroup exts are busy and the queue is full, the next caller gets disconnected... the calls all show as a missed call in call status with an abandon time of 0:00. Most are on 1.4, some are still on 1.3, but having the same problem... We have found no way around this, tried the DDI to the huntgroup and this is OK, just happens when VM Pro is introduced into the call flow. Help.... been scratching me head for weeks...

I don't see the problem here. To me it seems to be working totally fine this way. The only thing to do is to raise your queue to the maximum number (equal to your outbound lines) to get more costumers to reach you. But still in this case when your queue is full and your extensions are busy the whole group is busy so they will get a busy tone.

How are you transfering the calls from Voicemail to the HuntGroup queue?

Are you using the "Transfer" function or the "Assisted Transfer" function?

The "Transfer" function is - fire and forget!

Whereas the "Assisted Transfer" function gives you options when the target is busy etc.

Thanks for replies...
We have 2 users who don't want queuing enabled at all, and the other want small queues...
What we need is callers to get an engaged tone when the queue is full and all the HG exts are busy...
Endstop: Same result using assisted transfer and the straight transfer.. .call just disconnected... doesn't get to the busy node of the assisted transfer...

If you turn on Voice mail for that group then the call will goto vm when the queue is full. HAve a nice message saying call back later or leave a mesage

We always turn queing on and set the limit and if they don't want a queue message to play extend the queue delay to 999seconds do it never cuts in.
