Hi,

Can someone tell me ,is there any problem ,if i acrivate external call forward feature in M100 with analog CO trunks.

1. Will the trunk get hangup when a call is forward to mobile phone??

2. Will the trunk get hangup when a call is forward to land line(normal CO lines)??.

3. Is this way consider Trunk to trunk connection.

4. Is there any different if the call is call forwarded externally via Digital or Analog phone???

Thank in advance.

Questions (1 & 2), Both call connections will have similar results. If the incoming trunk is Loop Start and the outgoing trunk is Loop Start the trunks can get "locked together" (in tandem). Telco often times, does not provide Disconnect Supervision on Loop Start trunks (if the trunks are Ground Start, there should be no problem). A Disconnect consists of Telco sending an open on the Tip or Ring lead, or a momentary reversal of the Tip and Ring lead). This is what the PBX is looking for. If the PBX doesn't see this, it won't release the trunk.

Question 3, Yes, this is considered a Trunk to Trunk connection. Default, the 2400 & 2000 PBX have this feature restricted but you can allow this via programming.

Question 4, There is no difference between Digital or Analog phone in this scenario.

how about incoming is Analog DID & out going is CO,will it hang both trunks,if is not disconnected propely.

Thank a lot
