Indesign converted to PDF

(OP)
I have encountered a problem which is really causing chaos for our newspaper.  We are using Indesign 2.0 to create our paper, have for a very long time.  3 weeks ago everything was fine.  Last 2 issues we have had problems with the converted pdf files.  When I check the pdf files they are fine.  I then upload to our ftp site.  Our printer then downloads them for the press.  What they receive is full of errors.  Pictures don't load up right or not at all.  Font problems, the works.  We have tried everything and have come up with nothing.  We haven't changed our standard fonts for text (TNR)and cutlines(Arial).  Any clues? Ideas? Suggestions? Help?  We had one successful transfer after the power outage, so we know that isn't the cause.
Thanks
