History :
using ADO2.1 + Jet 3.51 but when do installation on new Win2K PC an error occured - Provider not found.

Rectified the error - program changed to ADO2.5 + Jet 4.but when to view the datagrid a new error occured - rowset not available.


Pls guide me to solve this.

Forum222 would be the VB 5 and 6 forum and Forum709 would be the Visual Basic (Microsoft) Databases forum.

You need to register (with regsvr32) the file "MSBIND.DLL" on the machine where your VB application is running. There is a hidden and undocumented dependency between the ADODC component and MSBIND.DLL.

I was having the same issue.  I tried your recomendation costashh, it did not work.  Same error occured.
