General UPS Question

What is the procedure for figuring out what size of UPS I will need for my small office,as far as load,Voltage ,etc.

Current set-up:
1-regular PC
1-PC that is a Surviellence system
1-Cable modem
1-Small router
---Will need some expansion.Thanks.
 
For each bit of equipment calculate the VA...

Volts x amps = VA

(if the equipment only shows wattage then times the wattage by 1.4 to get the VA)

Add the VAs together and then multiply this number by 1.2.
Then purchase a UPS that is higher than this number.
