LINC latest version

LINC latest version

LINC latest version

I am making some research on LINC and need to know witch is the latest LINC version on the market and the previous one.

Thank's for the help.

RE: LINC latest version

I guess the LINC 17.2 and 17.3 are the latest in the market ... they have got rebranded to EAE 3r2 .. EAE stands for Enterprise Apllication Environment 3 runtime 2.

Please let me know in case you have updated news than this.
Kind Regards,

RE: LINC latest version

Version 3.3 is now out.

The very latest and greatest 4.1, will be out in the second quarter of this year.

For those that may not know, the 4.1 release is a huge step forward with the LINC (now referred to as EAE - Enterprise Application Environment) software.

This is a huge step forward in allowing sites to be able to protect their LINC investment while moving forward to a more open platform.

In a nutshell, EAE will now become a plug in to Visio Studio .NET and will be able to generate and run a .NET or J2EE environment.
Developers will be able to continue to code in LINC or can use any other language available via .NET.

Come to this September's UNITE conference in Philadelphia for all of the latest info and demonstrations.
I am the chair person of the UNITE EAE sub group and we are doing some neat things!!

RE: LINC latest version

Right now we are working on LINC 17.3 and MCP 47 (IC MCP-047.1A.133 [47.189.133] (47.189.8702)) in a Clear Path (CS 7101). How many steps we will need to go further to get most recent version. How many releases jumps will require this?
