Set hunt group ngiht service

(OP)
Is there a way to have a light illuminate when you activate the "set hunt group night" short code.

RE: Set hunt group ngiht service

2030\2050 DT terminals (& the older but almost identical DT3\DT4&DT5) terminals show a moon an stars symbol on the LCD display when a hunt group (for which they are a member) is in night service. I am not sure about Dedinity DS terminals as these are not common in the UK
( only 2 out of 150 sites i maintain use these handsets)

RE: Set hunt group ngiht service

With IPO v1.4(22) and Definity Handsets (6424D+), you could use the following for a DSS button;

Action = ForwardUnconditionalOn
Telephone Number = <Huntgroup Extn No>

Hence if the Reception is out for lunch, she could forward incoming caller to another huntgroup (eg Lunch). You will have a visual a green light on that DSS button.

Give it a try

RE: Set hunt group ngiht service

The above will only work for Hunt & rotory groups
& foward hunt group calls nesd to be enabled on the ext.
