Hi

I searched for info on using triggers with IB but could'nt find anything.

Have any of you guys used triggers (set up in the generators section I think??) that generate a unique number for each record you add to a particulare table?

Any help much appreciated

You can download the documentation for Interbase here :

ftp://ftp.borland.com/pub/interbase/techpubs/tutorial.zip

It was released (I think) with version 5, but should be equally relevant for later versions. In the Tutorial.pdf file, it does cover triggers under Advanced Topics.
