I have have the following network switches:
Dell Powerconnect 3048 and 3024
HP Procurve 4000m
SMC 6429m

I have the 3048 as my root switch with the 3024 connected via the backplane cable.  Would like to setup the HP and SMC to connect via Trunk ports.  Setup trunking on the 3048, 4000m and 6429m.  They won't talk when the ports are in trunk mode.  If anyone can help me I would sure appreciate it.
