This is my first attempt at using ADO!
I have a form bound to an active data control. When I issue the save command, the control resets the bookmark to the front of the recordset meaning that I have to reposition the bookmark to the newly added record. However, when I don't step through the code the bookmark cannot be found. I believe this is due to the asynchronous nature of ADO and that the record has not been fully saved back to the database (which is Access on a local or shared drive). How do I stop this, or is there a better way of doing things than using bookmarks? Can I stop the control repositioning itself?
Thanks,
James :)
