Response.BufferOutput not working

Response.BufferOutput not working

Response.BufferOutput not working

I'm pretty new to ASP.NET but for some reason my pages are executing extremely slowly. I've read that the response buffer is automatically buffered in ASP.NET so I am trying to set this to false so the page displays as it loads. I've tried putting the following line right below my Namespace Imports:

<% Response.BufferOutput="false" %>

The page still waits until EVERYTHING is completed and then sends the output.. I've also tried to set the .Bufferoutput property to false in the Page_Load sub but this also has no effect.

The actual function of the page is to read through a list of images and populate the page with them so I have put a Response.Flush() in the For ... Next loop but as before this has had no effect.

Is there something obvious that I am missing here?
