Sharing NTL BB Connection

Sharing NTL BB Connection

(OP)
I have 2 Windows XP PC's networked through an Ethernet switch.  They will both happily talk to each other.

PC1 has an NTL BroadBand Connection, how can I ensure that PC2 has internet access?  Because ICS doesn't seem to be playing ball.

Thanks in advance.

RE: Sharing NTL BB Connection

ICS is the way to go...

the best bet is to go to each machine and note down the results of "ipconfig /all" then post back...with this info we may be able to work out what's gone wrong.

NB - PC2 should be setup with dynamic IP when using ICS.

<marc>   i wonder what will happen if i press this...

  • please give feedback on what works / what doesn't
