Service desk 5.5.1 closes automatically

Hello!
Wondering if anyone had had this issue before? Servicedesk closes itself down automatically with no error, no warning. PC is running windows 2000 and we have tried reinstalling the software and also rebuilding the pc from scratch and reloading the software. All other programs run fine, and the same installation disk was used on all the other helpdesk pcs and they have no problems.
It doesn't seem related to time, or whether the program has been idle. I am stuck. Any ideas guy? All suggestions gratefully received!

RE: Service desk 5.5.1 closes automatically

Hi,

I have seen this a couple of times before with both version 6 and version 5.X.

The only common thing that I see is that it crashes out when it is trying to do to many updates to the database, i.e Updating multiple request areas etc.

I have only seen it in day to day running when using customised forms and there is a problem updating a field.

Sorry I cannot be more helpful.

Regards,

Neal
