If AFLAC is exempt for Federal Withholding:
1. Select Maintain, Default Information, Employees, EmployEE Fields tab
2. Select the Fed_Income payroll field
3. Click on the ADJUST button for the Fed_Income row
4. Put a check mark in the USE box for AFLAC under the EmployEE Field Names
5. Click OK
6. Click OK again to save your changes
This tells Peachtree to calculate the gross, then deduct the AFLAC amount, then figure the Federal Income Tax from the net amount (Gross-AFLAC=Net Taxable Gross)
1. Select Maintain, Default Information, Employees, EmployEE Fields tab
2. Select the Fed_Income payroll field
3. Click on the ADJUST button for the Fed_Income row
4. Put a check mark in the USE box for AFLAC under the EmployEE Field Names
5. Click OK
6. Click OK again to save your changes
