Crystal report export problem to word

Crystal report export problem to word

Whenever I am exporting the crystal report(version 8.5) to word doc format the report header is becoming the part of the text where as the page header is becoming the part of header.
Can anybody tell me how to make the report header a part of the header in word doc?

RE: Crystal report export problem to word

Split the Page Header into two sections. Put the Report Header into the top section and the existing Page Header in the bottom section. Set the top section to be suppressed if the Page Number is not equal to 1 using the Format Section option.

I have not tested this, but it should work.

RE: Crystal report export problem to word

A lot depends on the dll, we certainly got improved output when we used the latest available, for Word and Excel also.  See Thread149-527329 for details
