playing a trailer

(OP)
I tried to download a trailer from the apple site, but no matter what size I choose, it downloads the 1.5 KB thing to send me to the webpage to download the player. I got the free player and it still gives me the 1.5 KB file no matter what movie trailer I choose! This is so annoying that I can't download the trailer. I had the player closed and open and it still won't work right. I had just downloaded the new player (last version) and two seconds later it tells me to download it. I've gotten trailers before, but obviously is not working now. How do I get it to know I have the player and want to download something??

Thanks

Georges

RE: playing a trailer

Check your internet settings on the QT player to make sure it "caches' the mov file to your local computer.

HOWEVER , many of the trailers online is now done in STREAMING QT; meaning thathe what you are downloading is the only te "script" file that will stream the video to your player.

Save yourself time and look on KAZAA for trailers. Less headaches.
