(OP)
I am receiving an error in the logs with only one server and the strange part is nothing has been added or deleted for at least a year with the exception of normal database growth. I have windows NT 4.0 server with the registery bit set to allow backup of the registery.
Problem: E8524 Received unrecognized command from the client agent. (COMMAND= 0). CA.com offers zero help, here is what they post:
Error 8524 8524 Received unrecognized command from the client agent. (COMMAND=command id).
Module:

Agent

Explanation:

ASNT received incorrect data from the agent. Stop the job and retry the operation.

What a crock, does anyone have a real solution?
