RE: how do i connect to a table in ms access via form from notes?

Take a look at Thread245-404298 it has some code posted for connecting to an outside Database.

You need to be careful though.  If you have a form that is populated by data from a database and then you save the form, you now have a DOCUMENT in the Notes Database that matches the record in the Access Database.  Be sure you realize that the document you see in Notes is NOT THE ACCESS RECORD!

If you would like some more information about this, feel free to contact me.

RE: how do i connect to a table in ms access via form from notes?

My best guess would be when the user intiates the process (press a button?), create a new document, set the form to use, run your query and populate the document fields with the information, set the document to the NotesUIDocument in the workspace for display and then close the document with out saving.

There may be a different way, but I'm unaware of it.  You might check the forum at www.notes.net
