L2TP VPN & Data Encryption

I am running W2K Profesional SP3 and am trying to get a L2TP VPN connection up and running

As soon as I try to connect I get

Error 768: The connection attempt failed because of failure to encrypt data

This happens even if I don't have an existing connection to the net, so I asume its a problem with my PC

Any Ideas ?

If encryption is not necessary, disable encryption and try again. See To configure identity authentication and data encryption settings for a dial-up connection and To configure identity authentication and data encryption settings for a VPN connection.
