Converting text to outlines

Converting text to outlines

Converting text to outlines

(OP)
Hi there,

I'm trying to convert a large text to outlines.
I was looking for a way to do it automatically when exporting to eps or pdf but no luck.

I've followed the instructions in this site, using the transparency flattener settings:

http://www.nickhodge.com/mne.php?mcid=857

but the transparency flattener doesn't work for me...
No matter which settings i use i cannot convert the text to outlines!

Any clue??

Thanks in advance.

RE: Converting text to outlines

Why does 'Type [menu]>Create Outlines' not suit your needs?

RE: Converting text to outlines

Well, i have two books with 700 pages each...
each book is divided into 10 page independent chapters.
I have to select each chapter to convert the text to outlines! besides, if i select the text frame with the select tool and go to Create Outlines it will screw things up. I have to select each block of text with the text select tool, which takes forever!!

Anyway, i went to my print bureau today and found that a .pdf with PC fonts reads well on their Mac.

:)

Problem solved.

Thanks anyway
