Removing Underline for Column Titles

Removing Underline for Column Titles

Removing Underline for Column Titles

(OP)
Hi,
   I am designing a report and when I execute the same the column titles are underlined by default. I do not want ot have the underlines. How do I remove them?

Regards.

RE: Removing Underline for Column Titles

If your output is HTML, you can use something like:

HTMLCSS=ON
TABLE FILE CAR
SUM SALES
 BY COUNTRY
ON TABLE SET STYLE *
TYPE=REPORT, GRID=OFF, $
TYPE=TITLE, STYLE=-UNDERLINE, $
END STYLE
END

for the PDF format, you can try something similar to:

TABLE FILE CAR
ON TABLE SET PAGE-NUM OFF

HEADING
"SALES<+0>COUNTRY"

SUM SALES AS ''
 BY COUNTRY AS ''
ON TABLE SET STYLE *
TYPE=REPORT, GRID=OFF, $
TYPE=HEADING, HEADALIGN=BODY, STYLE=BOLD, $
END STYLE
ON TABLE SET ONLINE-FMT PDF
END

Hope this helps
 Grzegorz

Thanks for the help.
It solved my problem.

Regards,
Roshini.

RE: Removing Underline for Column Titles

Put a trailing comma at the end of each
title to suppress under-lines under the
headers.

TABLE FILE CAR
PRINT TYPE AS 'Type,'
   BY COUNTRY AS 'Country,'
ON TABLE SET STYLE *
TYPE=REPORT, GRID=OFF, $
ENDSTYLE
END
