How do you hide select objects

How do you hide select objects

How do you hide select objects

I have two or more objects in my scene.  I want to hide all but the one I am currenlty working on.  It makes it easier for me to see that particular object.  I have not been able to figure out how you do that.  So, can you hide specific objects?  If so, how?

RE: How do you hide select objects

If you add layers, you can hide each layer (in this case each layer contains one object).

Hope this helps ( if a bit late)

get up the Object info ( right click the white arrow icon)

In Render options ( button on expanded Object info) put a cross in the invisible field, and it hides the object

Remember to untick before you render your scene.

I use it in animation on V6 to make object appear half way through my animation
