VSS and InterDev

Here's the situation.  We have two Source Safe databases.  In one database there are three main projects.  One project is a web project.  Our developers wish to edit it in InterDev.  After changing the name of the project, they can no longer do this.  Now, I can get the project into InterDev but it grabbed everything in both databases and wrote an extra copy of all of it in Source Safe.  Now I have extra files everywhere and editing one file in InterDev effects both copies.

We program in ASP, so we can't switch over to the .NET studio.

Can someone please help me set this up properly or send me to a technical resource to help?  Thanks.
