dBase file manipulation

(OP)
I am trying to access dBase 5.0 files and having no luck. I understand that I have to use the DBD:XBase module. Is that correct? If anyone has any code snippets of how to open, modify, delete dBase file records, I would appreciate it if you could post it for me to look at. Thanks in advance!

RE: dBase file manipulation

Good luck on this one! I looked all over and the best dbase module I could find for perl was DBD:Xbase, which, unfortunately, doesn't seem to have much support for actually UPDATING the files, although it's great for reading them. If you find something that works, post it here so we can all hear about it.
