I have a scheduled report whose output is in a xls format. This output goes to a directory on a different server. When I scheduled the report, the process came back as successful, but I cannot find the file.

I tried the following to no avail :

1) I received full permissions on this server and rescheduled the report. Still no file.

2) I received full permissions on another server and rescheduled the report. The file was created. I compared the permissions on both servers. They were the same.

3) I created a Bat file that would copy the file from one server to the other. I ran it under command prompt to test. The file was transferred to the correct server. I scheduled the bat file. The process came back successful, but when I view the file, it is not in the directory.

I'm at a loss as to why I cannot get this to work.

Thanks is Advance.........

Did you mean "Sharing" permissions or "Security" permissions on the share in question. If it is the "Sharing" permissions then you need to check the "Security" permissions, and also the other way around.
