RE: PSP 8 is out in Beta

Ok here's a stupid question about the layer palette in beta 8. How the heck do you select the layer? I used to just click to highlight it in 7, not working in 8...what the heck am I doing wrong here?

Hi Moira,

The layers palette has undergone some revision. By default, I think, the layers palette opens with the layer name not showing. You need to move the cursor, starting just to the right of the eyeballs, left until they change to the double sided arrow. Then drag to the left. You should then see the layer names. If that is clear as mud or you need more help, let me know.

RE: PSP 8 is out in Beta

AHA!! Ok man that was uncalled for....have to put the cursor to the left of the eyeball and then push it to the right hand side. Not nice of Jasc to hide that from us heh. Took me a min or two but I can finally see the layers Whee!!  Off to explore all the new goodies  ::giggles like mad::: Thanks a bunch Mike
